A Different Way to learn...
At The Learning Village, we've reimagined the traditional preschool classroom. Instead of spending the entire day in one room, children rotate through a variety of thoughtfully designed learning environments, each dedicated to a specific area of development. This approach allows children to fully immerse themselves in each subject while keeping learning engaging, purposeful, and exciting.
Every learning space has been intentionally created to support the whole child and promote growth across all developmental domains. As children move throughout the day, they experience activities that strengthen cognitive, language, physical, social, emotional, and creative skills while building confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
Fine Motor & Manipulatives Room
This hands-on space is designed to strengthen fine motor development, hand-eye coordination, problem-solving, and early mathematical thinking. Through puzzles, building materials, sensory activities, and manipulatives, children develop the skills needed for writing, self-help tasks, and critical thinking.
STEM Room
Our STEM Room inspires curiosity and discovery through science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Children investigate, experiment, build, and solve problems using hands-on materials that encourage critical thinking, creativity, and innovation. This area is designed to be open-ended and encourage children to think outside the box and collaborate.
Art & Dramatic Play Room
Creativity comes to life in our Art & Dramatic Play Room. Children express themselves through open-ended art experiences, imaginative play, music, movement, and role-playing activities. These experiences encourage creativity, communication, collaboration, and social-emotional development while helping children build confidence and empathy.
Coming Soon: Outdoor Garden Learning Space
We're excited to expand our STEM program with an outdoor garden classroom. This future learning space will provide opportunities for children to plant, grow, observe, and explore the natural world while developing an understanding of life science.
Literacy Room
Our Literacy Room nurtures early language, communication, and literacy skills through storytelling, phonological awareness, writing opportunities, and rich children's literature. Children develop the foundational skills needed for reading while building a lifelong appreciation for books and language.
